UFS Explorer is a family of five editions divided between a Classic line for common single-disk, RAID/NAS and network-distributed recovery, and a Professional line for specialist and forensic workflows. The editions overlap substantially; higher or more specialized editions add capabilities rather than forming a simple one-way ladder.

A single deleted file or formatted drive rarely needs more than Standard Recovery. A degraded or failed RAID/NAS is what RAID Recovery is for. Professional Recovery and Technician are built for a working lab, not a one-off personal recovery — the price difference reflects that.
